Apparently patto n Watson were going to them today to give their answers. Johnson n Khawaja simply forgot.

Terrible decision to drop them from a match. Make them do an extra fitness session or something like that. Terrible decision in my view

Maybe these players are behind allegations of poor culture and diva tantrums that follow current Australian squad. Not hard 2 fill out a few questions on paper. Dont most great cricketers comment that cricket is 90% between your ears and 10% talent. Maybe writing down a few hard truths was 2 hard bare. Critical reflection and analysis is a important tool in development.(sport and business). Really hope 2 see hughes and cowan knuckle down and make some big scores. I hope Maxwell comes out 2 bat in his baggy green again and back himself!

I would love to know where Clarke stands in all of this.

Great on field captain, questionable bloke and man management off field. Katich, hussey, symonds, and possibly this? Could it be best for him not to have such a say in the way things are run?

watto, vice captain has just displayed extremely poor leadership by

a) not completing the coaches task and
b) spitting the dummy and coming home to stay

should never represent australia again

I totally agree this is all too ridiculous for words. But surely if Clarkey was a proper captain he could have said to the recalcitrants "look, just write down that we need to make more runs, take more wickets, hold our catches and be good sports"
Hand that into the dopey Saffer coach and all is sweet.
No leadership IMO

Seems to me that this is just a convenient way for the hierarchy to deflect from their own poor performances

Clarke - for continually hiding himself at number 5
Arthur - for not having the team prepared for Indian style cricket
Selectors - for having no clue what our best team is and not picking a team to succeed in Indian conditions
Whoever - decided it was a good idea not to open the batting with our best performed opening batsman in Watson

So really not only Haddin should be on a plane but he should be bringing a few mates with him as well!

Still here is the based on what we have left:
Warner
Cowan
Hughes
Clarke
Haddin
Smith / Maxwell
Henriques
Starc
Siddle
Doherty
Lyon

I really think Lyon should play with Doherty. And well we need or have to now play Smith or Maxwell.

Thats rubbish. If he was always coming home he would've left days ago, to ensure he didn't miss the birth. He is coming home now because he spat the dummy.

Hope we never see him in the whites for Australia again.
