Christian form this season been average this season.

I've heard on the grape vines, Alex Carey selection is just around the corner to open the batting.

Yes this year but not much in Futures matches.

Sam Raphael had to put in big numbers the previous season plus pre season with the Emerging redbacks then with good performances in Futures has been selected for First Class.

I wouldn't be surprise if he plays next game if Raphael fails.

Lol, If its team balance they want out goes No 6, Botha and in comes Christian.
There is not room for Botha and Lyon
There is also not room for Chuck and Christian in the same state

Christian will end up in Brisbane next season

Signed a two year deal at the start of this season.

I also Thought Tom Coopers form in the big bash, second 11 and club cricket would've forced his way back in to the side

I heard at the start of the week he wouldn't be selected, but not because of balance more something to do with his attitude and something he may of said or done on returning from the big bash... Think there is more to this than the saca are willing to let on

You mean Cleary?

Moved to Melbourne a couple of seasons ago for a contract with Victoria. Originally from Mildura and they have been after him for years. Don't think he was contracted this year but obviously still hanging around in Melbourne to play Grade cricket.

Good that Hughes is available. Him and D.Hussey must be making the real early flight from Hobart.

The commentators on the radio would not shut up about how D.Hussey was
on a early flight over blah blah blah trying to get a test selection. Not a mention of Hughes who just bated 50 overs and carried Aust yesterday. Considering he is the only serious chance of getting a test gig.
