Does this win the prize for the most biased South Australian comment on this site ever

Sheffield Shield 2012/13
Christian 9 wickets @ 41.4, 173 runs @ 21.6
Hastings 22 wickets @ 19.1, 200 runs @ 33.3

In Perth 2012/13
Christian: bowling 1/118, batting: 8 and 4.
Hastings: bowling 7/87, batting: 39.

Yeah and Putland deserves a spot as well haha

I think it's not long enough break, especially if Perth is having a heatwave aswell.

I agree its a huge ask especially for Siddle, I actually dont think Clarke should have bowled him that last over, he looked like he was going to die! I like back to back tests for the fans but gee it must be hard for the players, by the time they fly to Perth then have a rest day then straight back into it.

Problem is it doesn't matter how much you get paid your body can only take so much.

Also with Hilfenhaus struggling a tad, Starc only early in his career and Lyon bowling on a pitch which may not offer alot you wanna be pretty certain Siddle can carry the workload again.

Thats the problem aswell though, Siddle is the onfield leader of the bowlers and without him we will be in trouble, Starc is still new, Hilf is rubbish and then we have either MJ or Big John.

What would be interesting is to compare how far siddle ran in Adelaide compared to a soccer player/ footballer etc etc add in the fact he did most of his running in 30 plus degree heat would we expect these footballers to back up after 3 days rest

Putland is definitely good enough to get a gig for Australia, 89 wickets at an average of 19 is nothing to sneeze at, the only problem is every time he sneezes he gets injured!

MJ and Starc in. Lyon and patto out. 5 quicks will help siddle keep to short spells I would think

No good having flat bowlers. Yeah he could do it, but could he do it well that is the question.

Good point CK. Except that Watto is a lemon, Johnson goes for five runs an over and Siddle has bowled a zillion overs this month. Hmmmm.

This would take South Africa seven sessions. Having said that, it is us that needs to win the series.
