Do people want us to be like India where each region/state gets allocated equal positions in squad.
Cant believe people in SA keep going on about it

He plays NSW though hey,

I 100% agree with you but you know what would happen on an SAFooty thread if he was selected.

hypothetical, say they bring in wade for the adelaide test, what happens to nevill?

Sounds like a mutiny in the Indian camp, a few players have asked for Dhoni to be stripped of his Captaincy and Sehwag take over for rest of tour. India could also make up to 3 changes with Laxman, Kohli and Ashwin all facing the axe.

Very good question. Even better, what has Marsh done to deserve Test selection at all?

Marsh did well on his entry to Test cricket, but has spudded up in recent times. If nothing else, a prolonged run in the team will sort out whether or not it is a form lapse, or his early efforts were just pure arse.

The Indian Basket Case managed to get through to the start of the Third Test before the wheels began to fall off.

Rohit Sharma should be in the team, and in the interest of generational change, he should replace Laxman.

Ajinkya Rahane is the only other batsman in the squad, and he has had some ridiculously good international innings (ODI and t20).
The issue is that he is a top order player, either opening or batting three, and is not suited to the five or six slot.

Wriddhiman Saha is also there, and is the reserve wicket keeper, his Test career stands at one game, and has not done much yet.

The only realistic replacement for Ashwin is Ojha, who will get slapped around in Perth.

Why any more than Ashwin though?
They performed much the same in the recent series v WI (Ashwin 22 wickets/Ojha 20 wickets)

Just read the FoxSports article regarding the 3rd test.
The WACA has produced a pitch greener than the outfield, the Indian players apparantly went for their first look at the pitch and seemed upset.
Will get 1 more slight cut before Friday but there will be plenty of grass left on, bring on 4 quicks :D

I really feel for the Indians  =)) :)) :-({|= about time we took some of the libertys that other countries, teams and curators have been taking for years. I hope we tickle plenty of ribs, dent a few badges and most importantly win and send them to Adelaide in a rabble for a true Australia day celebration.

Im not sure its all that important. The toughest 2 innings to bat in Perth will be the 1st and 4th and either way they will have to bat in one of the 2 more than likely. i actually expect a fightback from them but i would expect that in one of their 2 innings that they will perform the old "El collapso"
