Very weak from 6 down.

Faulkner and butterworth can both bat. Wouldn't want to underestimate them

They can but they collapse very easily.

I rate Butterworth but Tasmania seem to have a real problem once wickets start falling.

Thank F**k we threw them in, reckon we might have been more than 3 down on that deck. Great spell by George. Can see Slobgrove making a biggie today hopefully he eats too much for lunch and cant resume after the interval

Over 41.2: Kelly to Cosgrove, no run, OUT, short outside off, tries to cut hard but gets an edge to the 'keeper. Loose shot

See the umpires for this match are Paul "Pistol" Reiffel and Paul "Blocker" Wilson.

Is it the first time that 2 ex Test players have stood together in a SS game?

2nd XI 0/172 at Tea:

Thornton 102no
Stray 64no.

Thornton should come in if Dougall fails in this game. Has made some good runs over the last couple of seasons. Stray will be one to watch in a couple of years as well.

SA 0/172 v WA in futures match. Thornton just brought up his ton off only 130 balls.
Got a mate down there watching and reckons he looks solid.
Must admit I dont know a lot about him, do any of you guys who follow grade cricket more closely than me comment on him?

Faulkner 55* (only a matter of time until he plays for Australia).

Also, on cricinfo website has the batting order as: Klinger, Harris, Ferguson, Cooper, Dougall.

Surely Klinger goes to 3, Harris opens with Dougall and Ferguson bats 5?
