Cricket Australia has named allrounder Mitchell Marsh as a replacement for Brett Lee in Australia's ODI squad for the series against South Africa. Marsh is a part of Australia's Twenty20 squad in South Africa and will remain with the team for the one-day leg of the tour, as Lee underwent a surgery for appendicitis on Monday that ruled him out of the tour's limited-overs games.

So Pat 'the future of Aus cricket' Cummins just bowls a double wicket maiden in a T20, as an 18 years old. He's got express pace, a beautiful fluid motion, is aggressive. The future.

Cummins bowls well, Mitch Marsh hits 4 sixes in his knock off 34 (or therabouts).

Defending 147, SAF slumped to 7/84 off 14.4 overs. Parnell and Theron in. They go wam, bam thankyou mam. SAF win 7/148 off 19.1 overs

The Aussie top order cost us big time. To make only 50 from first 10 overs was pretty ordinary.

Great game, stayed up and watched it all night
The 20/20 series now set at 1-1
The 3rd game will decide the Series winner ...
Can you believe it ...

PS
Can the new batch of selectors please not select Shaun Marsh in 20/20 Internationals
AU is going to have to rely on him in Test matches and ODIs where he might become a very good player
His form might languish in this form of cricket
Dare I say it, he may even pull a WattoMarshstring in these games
And 1 more thing for the selectors, he is not a number 3 in 20/20, his best form is opening the batting

That's if there was a 3rd match, another ridiculous 2 match series.

Exactly my point
Any 2 match series is a f...g joke
To set aside one more 3 hour bashathon on a tour , I would have thought would be a very very very simple exercise

And we have a 2 game Test series coming up as well in South Africa
Imagine if this becomes a 1-1 all stalemate
The whole tour becomes a farce

To protect ODI's, ICC regulations restrict any T20 international series against one country to 2 matches (or 3 if you play 2 countries over a home summer).

On a side note, I see we've changed apparel supplier from Adidas to Asics
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Save him? No one would've ever heard of Shaun Marsh if not for his dominance in the IPL.

Great to see Pat Cummins make the squad for the tests, should have already happened.
If he plays in the tests ill go out on a limb and predict him to be leading wicket taker of series for the Aussies

I make reference to International 20/20 games, REAL games of cricket
Shaun is simply not a good enough slogger in these games

I cant comment on his IPL form
Ive seen about 33 minutes of this comp in total
I have very little interest in working holiday tournaments
Apparently Warner made a couple of big hundreds on those games
Yeah, and against real bowlers in 2 South African 20/20 matches , on real pitches, heez made the same amount of runs as Gozu and Mal !!!!

Fair enough but without trying to pump up the IPL too much it is the best T20 cricketers in the world.

In 2008 (the IPL's first season) Shaun Marsh won the 'Orange Cap' for the tournaments leading run scorer with 616 runs @ 68.44 at a strike rate of 139.68 and won the most MOTM awards for that year with five.

Then this year he scored the fourth most runs in the tournament with 504 @ 42 at a strike rate of 146.51 and made the IPL XI team.
