Bayman, where you been fellow, there is a spot on the ball most times, not telling you how to suck eggs, but ball hitting pitch causing friction that heats ball, hence 'HOT SPOT'. Probably haven't noticed, cause too busy looking for hottie on bat. They say we learn something every day.

This thread is a good indication towards the amount of interest in this game. 7 games against the same opponent is at least 2 to many, if not 4.

Either bring back the tri-series and play each team 3 times or reduce this series to a 5 match series.

Just a quick couple questions too, i've been meaning to ask for a while, pretty meaningless questions BUT......

Q. Why do Australia wear the green strip here in oz? ive always preferred the canary yellow.

and

Q. Do you think there should be another World match, just like the one they had a few years ago? it was interesting watching everyone play with people you would never think they would.... probably will never happen now though to much IPL....

Apologies if mentioned already but is Haddin injured? He appears to limping and pulling up short in his movements.

I dont know whats worst
Johnathon Trotts bowling or the Steven Segall commercials

EG 7/190[39]
YARDY 34*[59]
PLUNKETT 20*[29] is a good player

Ive chucked a lazy grand on aussies winning world cup. For all the bagging we are still the best ODI side in the world by a fair bit.

Paine failed... probably his last international game until we play our next T20
Haddin... Crap shot.
Fergie... First failure I remember at this level.
Cameron White... Selected as one type of player, now playing as a different type of person.
Dussey... Am a huge fan, hope he gets games in the WC, not just as a back up bat when Ponting/MHuss come back
Voges... What a surprise selection... What a knock...!
MJ... Heeez back! bowling all-rounder???
Pastings196... The nickname says it all.
Krejza... Not too bad, surprised this was his first game... Is he back in the mix?
Tait... 8 overs? Is that too much...

Just remember England's only ranked 5th in the world in this form of the game, Australia should get a lot more of a fight from the likes of India, South Africa, Sri Lanka, than they have from England in this series.

Spot on Sam
The blast bowlers are gunna struggle in the Northern Hemisphere
If AU has to rely on Smith/Hussey/Hauritz and co, then I feel AU is at a big disadvantage

Just to further clarify the differential in pitches
IF AU played EG 7 times on the Sub Continent tracks I would think someone would win the series 4-3, and not the 6-1 result we have had here

I see pakistan as a dark horse. Usually do well at world cups, India will choke under the pressure their home fans put them under and the worlds biggest chokers the saffers will do their usual greg norman impersonation abd bow out early. That leaves Aus by default with the title. The Lankans are also a big chance but they rely on too few.

Now thats funny, those saffer tossers will find another way to choke in the world cup. The most overated, underachieving bunch of losers going around
