Just for the record, Smith was taken off just before the ball change because of the chance of reverse swing. Good captaincy IMO

If thats the reason fine. But he was bowling well and surely you keep him on when he is on a roll. Lee was the only one getting reverse, put him on one end and leave smith on

Yeah take a bowler off thats getting wickets for the chance of something that may not be there
Lee currently 7 overs for 60

Hussey 2 overs 2 for 3 and gets taken off as well

what a farce

Smith & Hussey 9 0vers 5 for 36 vs the rest of the crap bowling we have seen today

Oh by the way score is 6/250 after 44.2

Agree with that locky.
A blind man can see that the slower bowlers are getting wickets and the quicks are getting pasted. Keep hussey and smith on or bowl yourself for a couple clarkey ffs

We have seen it in the t20's all year, the slower bowlers are harder to hit especially at adelaide.

Good deck, no Swann, I rate us a chance, but I think we need a hundred from one of top 4. would be a good way for the skipper to bounce back.

Pathetic captaincy.
To think smith and hussey arent going to complete their overs whilst the quicks and that hastings joker are getting pummeled

finally some sense from Clarkey - give Hussey the last over. Hopefully a 5-fer.
Clarke really needs to make a ton here tonight
Caution! You are now entering the no-spin zone...

Slow bowlers 11 overs 7/54 - severely underbowled
Quicks 39 overs 1/245 - severely overbowled
Do the maths clarkey, big mistake today.
We have seen how much success slow bowlers have in adelaide, for huss and smithy not to bowl their alotted overs is a joke

EG 7/299
Stunned, absolutely stunned
SMITH 3/33[7]
HUSSEY 4/20[3.4]
7/53 [10.4] by the part time spinners
And we are chasing 300

Captaincy ?????
Clarke was clever enough to get the part times to those 7 wickets
But were they underbowled[ YES]
B
U
T
What about the front line bowlers
LEE/DOUGGGGIE/WATTO/1066/DOHERTY
1/241 [39]
B4 this game started those 5 bowlers were the best at Clarkes disposal
Clarke has to use them for at least 39 overs
There4 I conclude the frontline bowlers are the ones at fault as well

LOCKY AND JIMMY WERE SCREAMING FOR MORE SPIN
SO hmmmmmmnnnn

Yardy quickfire 39 at the death, ENG finish 8-299 well below what they should have.

Smith 3 for, his best effort with bat or ball in ODI cricket- justified his spot for the first time. Hope he continues to improve (sorry WCP).

Dussey 4-29 (4 overs)- bowled at the death so the economy isn't too shabby.

Agree wholeheartedly with Jim, spinners definitely underbowled today.

Lee and Hastings disappointing.

We know BING LEE is hot and cold, and this was definitely cold.

HASTINGS is just poo, but hey, he's 196cm...

Doherty cannot get a gig in the same side as, dare I say, Smith, especially with DUSSEY getting Lehmann-like spinning duties...

If O'Keefe manages to go to the Cup, then X needs to stay home.
