I want three changes, but the only one I see is if Ponting doesn't get up... Then it should be Khawaja, but will likely be North.

Yeah, because australia has never complained about the same thing happening in india, pakistan etc... If you can listen to cook's press conference he say's he has no issues about it.

Khawaja added to squad which is now a squad of 13.

Could they drop one of the 4 quickies and play smith as the spinner with watson bowling some overs and add an extra batsman.

I would like to play Doug Bollinger, but that means dropping both HILF and SIDDLE
The selectors would be reluctant to change a winning team
I still believe at Test Level that Douggie is a better bowler than Hilf and Sidds

You might be right mal. I am a huge fan of Hilfenhaus, but probably hasn't quite delivrered on that at Test level.

Do you all miss that spell in Perth, when the Mitch was taking poles at the other end, Hilf bowled superbly into the doctor most of the test match, didn't get the wickets he deserved, but then the POMS collapsed like a cheap pack of cards to the quicks at the other end. Having said all that, I think they will play Siddle on his home deck.
