How much are the tickets just out of interest? More than the adelaide test?

AW O'Brien 13 wickets at 39, 195 runs at 19...

Hardly anything to write home about...

But with the selections of DOHERTY/BEER/SMITH as spinning options, could this work horse get a call up to the big dance?

Okeefe surely is next. Blindingly obvious how good he is. He was a shining light for aus A and is playing in prime ministers match. He is obviously in selectors vision

Separate thread for Beer jokes... they're getting a bit flat...

Cannot believe Cossie mentioned, although he is the second leading run scorer now in SS cricket.

I want three changes, but the only one I see is if Ponting doesn't get up... Then it should be Khawaja, but will likely be North.

Has to be Khawaja surely! North's done and dusted... Put Hauritz at 6! 2 tons in as many matches!

Yeah, because australia has never complained about the same thing happening in india, pakistan etc... If you can listen to cook's press conference he say's he has no issues about it.

Khawaja added to squad which is now a squad of 13.

Could they drop one of the 4 quickies and play smith as the spinner with watson bowling some overs and add an extra batsman.

You might be right mal. I am a huge fan of Hilfenhaus, but probably hasn't quite delivrered on that at Test level.

Do you all miss that spell in Perth, when the Mitch was taking poles at the other end, Hilf bowled superbly into the doctor most of the test match, didn't get the wickets he deserved, but then the POMS collapsed like a cheap pack of cards to the quicks at the other end. Having said all that, I think they will play Siddle on his home deck.

Khawaja would just be added to the wolf pack incase Punter's pinky is hurting too much.
