Reinvent the whole corporation thus making the constitution irrelevant.

Yes it would at club level but isn't club cricket meant to be the foundation of our state team which is the foundation of our national side.

Yes it is, which is why it's important to build a solidarity into the structure rather than treat it like just another weekend competition.

Just on "clubs not being willing to amalgamate", I can tell you that when it was put to SACA clubs about 15 years ago to explore this, my club Sturt were seriously talking with Glenelg. It was the weaker clubs, the clubs just sponging off the competition who did nothing about it, and that is why nothing happened.

Put ego's and history aside...

Western Districts ( Port, Woodville )
North Adelaide (University, Prospect)
North Eastern Districts ( TTG, East Torrens )
Eastern Districts ( Kensington, Sturt )
South Eastern Districts ( West Torrens, Glenelg )
Adelaide
Southern Districts
Northern Districts

You get the best 88 players each week pitted against each other....
Will never happen, but would certainly improve cricket in SA

Big ask I know, but I hope they have enough sense to keep Jeff Vaughn.

Had him as coach @ Hope Valley where he lifted us into three grand finals for two premierships.
Cannot speak highly enough of the man. No matter what grade you played in, he was always available for for a chat/advice or just a cold VB. The speech he made to the whole club even after losing his GF was one of the highlights of my sporting life.

HSD or bust bro...

I'll join in though... do you think SACA would want a coach who was keen on Beer?
