What time is this squad/ team being announced, I don't think there's ever been so much interest in an announcing of a team.

You would of thought they would of waited to at least Saturday night to name it, what if Cam White smashes a double ton today against the poms or S.Marsh makes a big 100 against QLD.

Beer in the squad, what a joke!

Johnson straight back in, what a joke!

Smith finally called in which is good! Hauritz should have got a gig infront of Beer, but the selectors didn't want to admit they screwed up and pick Hauritz again

WTF?! Im lost, your going to Perth to play and you drop North (obviously) You drop Bollinger and you drop X...

... you bring in Hughes to replace the injured Kat and then not one but TWO spinners :? :? AND one of those is a bloke whose only played half a dozen 1st class games!?

So What they gonna play Smith as the specialist batsman over North??!?!

If i was a Ferguson or Khawaja id feel like ive just been kicked in the guts!

As much as I'd love to see Ferg in there he hasn't really set the world on fire. Usman would have to be considered before him and Smith is going to have to perform immediately to take the 6th batting spot.
Bowling was always going to be under scrutiny whoever they picked, I'm just glad that North's candle has burnt out.

Surely now you would push Haddin to 6 and Smith at 7? Either way i cant believe they havent opted for another specialist bat, obviously shows they arent confident in taking 20 wickets!

And what has Smith done exactly? Poor man's Cameron White. Absolutely farcical Aussie squad.

Agree on North though but his spot should have been taken by Khwaja or Ferg.

Will it be 4 quicks plus Smith and Watto? Or 3 quicks, Beer & Watto as the attack?
