And a magnificent catch it was too. Will be tough to beat as the catch of the summer.

Gayle gone for 26

c. Haddin b. Bollinger

WI 2/39

Listening on Radio apparently another poor shot tried to cut ball over slips head didn't get it high enough and Haddin caught it.

Though now the Windies two best bats Chanderpaul and Sarwan are in together, these guys are both capable of hitting 100's and a massive 200 run partnership on a wicket like this.

Over 8.4: Bollinger to Gayle, no run, OUT, attempts to cut a very short wide ball outside off and Haddin takes the catch one handed leaping into the air. Big wicket for Australia

Doug's day, but hey sh1t gets wickets...

Chanderpaul will get a big score here I feel

The ball wasn't all that wide, Gayle nearly got the shot right too.

And yes, Bollinger's bowling hasn't been all that good. Just had two very good catches taken.

Quote from the online commentator on cricinfo......

"I'm going to get flamed for this, but Gayle is a hack and should be removed as captain. What kind of idiot, who should be a mentor and role model for his young players, plays so carelessly and so selfishly? What good is a test opener with 150+ strike rate if he averages only 30-odd. Strip him of his captaincy, put him back down to no.6 (at best), and let some talent lift the team. Better yet, leave him in T20 - he's just embarrassing himself here."
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Yes that was annoying, it was working well until that!

I've decided to just go with a stream from ABC Grandstand now... I don't mind listening to it while I'm working and KOK is always good for a laugh.

Sri Lanka made 393 in the 1st Innings

in reply almost at stumps on Day 2

India are 1/443 after 74 overs scoring at 6.51 runs/over

Sehwag 284 off just 239 balls with 7 6's and 40 4's

Been 10.30 start in Adelaide for quite a few years now i think. Not sure what the reasons were to change from the traditional 11.00 start but would probably be to do with TV stations and $$$$.
