He has bowled poorly but i wouldn't mind having a bat* on that pitch.

The way Johnson is going i wish i was batting for England. Some pretty easy Test runs to be made out there at the moment

Seriously his confidence is completely shot. He is bowling absolute garbage. It's quite staggering how poorly they are coming out for him.

As i speak Haddin f*cks up with the gloves again. He better keep making runs because he owes the team plenty after his efforts behind the stumps.

A good pitch is no excuse for bad bowling. The principles of line and length apply no matter what the pitch is doing. I just feel sorry for Ponting trying to set a field for this rubbish.

Look on the bright side. England may bat that long that they may not have time to bowl us out twice :)

Any chance of rain?

Seriously I'm struggling to remember a worse bowling performance by Australia??

Edgebaston 1985 when the POMs almost past us on Day 2 after we had batted into day 2 and made 350+

Crikey we've bowled some pooh, any danger in bowling just one side of the wicket???
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I would love to tell you there's rain on the way, but it still looks good from my window. Rain is forecast but it might not come in until tonight. There is however heavy rain forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Where going better than the 2nd Test in 2005 when England batted first and made 407 off 79 overs. B.Lee 17 overs 1/111.

What a shame Shane Warne never captained Australia. Brilliant cricket brain.

Okay, so no-ball or not Haddin f*cks up again. That was regulation but he still made it look difficult. He is a better keeper than we have seen in the past 18 months but he needs to find his form soon. He is letting the side down with his sloppy work. Thankfully from his point of view he is in form with the bat. That can only work for so long though as his job is to keep wickets first.

From what I've seen, we've bowled like the shizen. Bangladesh could've bowled better. And I totally agree about Punter/Warne's comments re: field placing. Diabolical.

This is getting pretty ugly for Australia now  Just bowling terribly. Hauritz hasn't been that bad but other than bit and pieces from Hilfenhaus the others have been awful. Now Hauritz has f*cked his hand. We are f*cked here :?

I wrote after the away South Africa tour that Haddin's keeping is one of our biggest worries and i still believe that is the case even while watching some of this terrible bowling. His keeping today and in the last 12 months has been average at best and it needs to be fixed and fixed quickly. Thank god he is in form with the bat like you said, His footwork his sloppy and when he has to cover any ground he looks pretty ordinary, Those byes he let pass in the first session were pretty embarrassing IMO.

As for MJ today, well he seems to be falling into some of his old habits which is not good for Australia at all, Some of the rubbish he has dished up in the last 3 innings is unnacceptable from our "best bowler".

and found Mitchell Johnson, Ben Hilfenhaus and Peter Siddle had been there all night. Being good samaritans they tried to wake the inebriated cricketers to no avail. Luckily they were placed in a cab and finally awoke from their drunken slumber just in time to take the field at Lords.
