Dutchy - just do both ...

Stick your TV on the HD channel, run Foxtel through your amp (as it probably is) and then you can listen to and watch the ideal combination ;)
I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

Actually, to be honest, the whole trio (MacGill, Martyn & Matthews) could quite possibly be in my top 10 least liked people in cricket, so I'm certainly not sticking up for them. If I honestly thought they were rubbish, I would happily say so.

However, all they have to do is introduce the day's play, do about 10 minutes during lunch, another 2 minutes at tea, and about 30 seconds during drinks breaks. They just offer their opinions, whether we agree with them or not, and that's it. Why that would bother people as much as it appears to have done defies my comprehension.

If they were calling the entire game and we had to listen to them for 6 hours, then maybe I could see why people get annoyed, but we can still view an entire day's play without listening to any one of them if we so choose.

I'm more annoyed by that damned stupid add where all the bike riders get angry with some idiot playing golf or something. I've seen it 500 times and still not sure what they say!!! :)
