But honestly the more important issue is Manou rating himself as a bat.
If he is batting at 6 this game its a disgrace again. We surely have 6 better bats then him. O'Brien at 7 and Christian at 8.
I hope it does not end up in this order

Pretty healthy overrates considering 5 wickets fell.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Surely Christian has to bat ahead of both O'Brien and Manou.

Agreed if Christian and O'brien can't bat better than Manou and they are batting allrounders then they shouldn't be in the team as their bowling isn't that good.

Qld 6/168

Partnership of 77 for the 6th wicket in quick time thanks to 49 off 35 balls from Simpson. Thankfully we've seen the back of him but still plenty of batting to come with Hopes and Noffke in and Hartley and Ryan Harris still to come as well.

Edit - Sorry not Hopes but Carseldine still in.

Tait!!

The Gabba is an interesting wicket at the moment, lots of wickets and the runrate is decent too. Makes for exciting cricket.

carseldine is a very very good player IMO- just before he had his few seasons off with his back problem he was close to the best allrounder in the country. He could bowl quick too according to those who faced him

Another game where the Redbacks make everyone sit/stand up and take notice (5/78); then leave everyone scratching their heads why any interest was taken. (352 all out). That is really worth 450 on that pitch.
