I think this is a good point. As an Australian who played the game at a reasonably good level, I often wonder what in hell people are whingeing about when it comes to the Australians and their on field behaviour. As we progress through local ranks we are used to the banter that goes on out in the middle, and by the time an Australian reaches Test level he thinks nothing of throwing around what he considers to be harmless sledging, simply designed to distract the batsman.
Some other nations simply cannot handle it, and therefore label the Australians as ugly, amongst other things. I would like to remind those other nations that they do some things that Australians consider unacceptable as well, so it's a two-way street. Aussies want to win more than any other nation in the world, and they will show this in the upcoming Ashes series.

If Australia was losing do you think sledging by them would be an issue?
