that was a woeful shot by Haddin. Look at the field i wonder what he is going to bowl at you. Have a look first  .

So what sort of score should we aim for from here at 6/326 - 402? A lead of 300 and a chance to bowl at the Poms tonight for 90 minutes or so would seem OK?

We should be 300 up at tea. The more time Johnson spends at the crease the further infront we will be. No need to declare just get bowled out and see what the lead is.

I agree we dont declare.
If Johnson gets going it looks better and better. If he goes cheaply another 80 runs for the last 3 wickets you would definitely take.
At a normal scoring rate we should be 300 ahead at tea but given we are entering the tailenders then the scoring rate will be dependent on how long North or Johnson bat with the last 3.
That's why I'm thinking a lead of 300 would be good to aim for and 90 minutes is not a full session but enough to be able to mess with their heads before stumps ;)

I'd be giving Johnson a licence to go after the bowling here. He can hit a ball a long way and could really demoralise the Poms.

I hope he was given the license to have a go. It will be very entertaining if he does it for 30 minutes.

Strange outcome to get a boundary there (Johnson) - must have got a top edge

he sure did was a half attempt at a pull shot and then a second thought to evade it and ended up doing neither.
