Not fergusons fault. 100% putlands fault 2 full tosses in the 20th deserves to lose.

Agree, but the umpires were never going to call it a four unless there was conclusive footage

Hahaha yeah, making himself look like a knob. It's four bud, end of story.

Sh!thouse by Putland though bowling those two full tosses that deserved to go to the boundary, WTF. Richo set it up for the Strikers beautifully, only for Putland to let them down unfortunately.

That was a great over but to bowl 2 full tosses when they need 15 off the last over with 2 fresh batsmen in you'd back the bowling side nearly everyday of the week. I didn't think he bowled that well at all tonight but saying that his form this year has been outstanding so I'm sure he'll bounce back.

Ups and downs of being a death bowler.

He will bowl a lot more late overs in his career, some will be match winning and some won't.

That's the nature of it...

Just got home from the game not long ago

Pomersbach brilliant (sorry Mal) Burns struggled with the bat but kept fighting, shocking over by Putland at the end but Richo bowled absolutely superbly, great great bowling.

Crowd only 10 and a half k and if that ground announcer keeps his job it is a joke, 3/4 names said wrong and 3/4 times getting the wrong guys coming out to bat and these were not hard names this was getting first names wrong FFS, I didnt realise Cameron Bruce had taken upcricket once he had retired from the AFL.

It was a great night though.

Great game, very depressing result. A win would have been great but going home a loser.
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

Great game. Strikers (bar Richardson) bowled terribly and that was the difference.

Should've dived and met the ball instead of trying to be too cute.
