COSGROVE out for 2 off 5 balls, Cosi is ok in 50 over games and the SS but struggles in 20/20 games
1/25 [4.4]
Boom Boom now in, but 4 overs wasted

Melbs should be able to restrict the purples especially without Tait

Hobart seal a home semi.
Depending on next game Hobart, Perth and Sixers are all in contention to finish top

Scorchers lose by a run, great arm by Smith. Scorchers were going for the run to level scores.
North way too slow, opened the bat and was out last ball for 59

Shouldn't be so close to line then wouldn't have worry about no ball.

Pitch was damp and they were using sawdust on crease. Reckon he was an inch or two behind the line and slid over. The ump obviously didnt see him slide and thought he was over.

MR 4/173
FINCH 67[45]
HODGE 63 [41]
KREJZA 3/39[4]
Great start
Turning point of the match was at 0/125 off about 13 overs
Finch threw his bat at a cover drive
The bat broke, 1 run
Hodge out next ball !
With about 40 balls left Reardon instead of smashing plays a run a ball innings
When will these players learn, 9 wickets left u dont try and get Finch on strike, everyone must bash

JONES + HODGE
Foxgirl Sarah, Sierra, Sera, Sara [whichever it is] Jones interviewed Hodge on his disMissAL
Heres what Jones said to Hodge
"" Are you and Aaron [Finch] aware statistically if you guys get the team of to a real great start it really consolidates from there ""
Heres the color blind Hodge reply
"" Well usually Sarah if you get off to a good start the team does well I suppose [Hodge laughs]

1/137 [15] TITS
Did anyone see the sheila with the black top and nice tits?
Did you also see the guy with her grab hers tits ?

BRENTON MCDONALD
On debit for MR
Is the leg spinning little brother of Andrew Mcdonald
On closer reflection he looked more like Robin Williams when he played in Mork and Mindy

HH 3/174
win on the last ball
WELLS 72 [61]
COSI 2 [5]
BIRT 25 [16] cameo
SHAH 49 * [30] genuis
JAQUES 12 [7] gutsy innings for the team [of you look at www.cricket.com.au Phil got 12 on 67 balls !]
NANNES 1/22 [4] take away all the edges for runs , and he was even better

LAST OVER AFRIDI
With 2 balls to go HH need 5 runs to win
Shah down the pitch swishes , outside edge for 4 to third man
Last ball 1 to win, 0 runs or a wkt and its a play off
Shah that twinkletoed genuis batsman shuffles around in the crease
Afridi bowls the ball anticipating Shah to step back
And bowls a WIDE
Smart thinking , but it cost MR the match, in a great game

MY VOTES
3 HODGE
2 SHAH
1 FINCH

Wells almost got in the votes

SS 176[20]
Were 6/174
MADDINSON 49[31] his best dig
HenREBiques 31[33] way to slow
SMITH 51 [25] Even a certain Panther would have been impressed
THORNLEY 19[8] getting better with age with his s/r
COULTER NILE 3/38[4]
HOGG 2/22 [4] what a great great bowler, for confirmation just ask Brad !

Were 2/22 so a good effort
HADDIN 0[2] Well I mean what could we expect, all this Test Cricket has ruined his Big Bash 20/20 form as well

PS 6/175
lose by 1 run
NORTH 59* [52] no opener should face that many balls for that little runs, but did a job of sorts
KATICH 31 [23]
RONCHI 34 [13] what an innings
STARC 3/28 [4] including 3 wkts in 1 over

PS were 3/34 after STARc cleaned them up early
Were gunna get slaughtered then the Fluke came in

FLUKE RONCHI
34 runs
13 balls
At one stage he hit 18 off 1 ball !
HENrebIQUES was the bowler
4 + NO BALL over the waist
6 + NO BALL over waist high ? or was it a foot no ball
6
Out next ball !

At the start of the over it was
41 runs off 18 balls
it then became
23 off 17 balls

BRETT LEES LAST OVER
6 balls
13 runs
after 4 balls it was
2 balls
7 to win
Coulter Nile is bowled, but its called a foot no ball [but on replay it was not]ohhhhh no
2 balls
6 runs
FREE HIT
Wide called on ball too wide outside off
2 balls
5 runs
FREE HIT AGAIN
NILE hits LEE for 2 runs
1 ball
3 runs to win
2 runs for a play off
NILE off drives, they run for the 2 runs, NORTH is run out by THAT brilliant fieldsman Steve Smith
SMITH pounced on the ball Panther like ... RUN OUT
PS win by a run

An outstanding game of cricket

MY VOTES
3 SMITH
2 FLUKE RONCHI
1 STARc

Dunno about an inch or two, I thought he started on it and slid, I'm with bulldog, don't get so close when it matters so much.
