I have a bad feeling that it is going to be ugly scenes in South Africa. Fingers crossed that the guys can hang on for a draw at worst (although would still be a mental victory for the Sth Africans). Need 2 wickets in the 1st hour IMO to win the game, if not draw or South African win.

I am also really concerned about this unless we get early wickets. Surely we won't let the Saffies chase down another huge total....

Australia are still in the box seat.

While South Africa have a sniff they still need to make 280 on a last day wicket that is still offering a bit, If the Aussies can grab 2 wickets in the first session then they should run through them IMO.

If SA can chase this total down then it will be one of the greatest performances in Test Cricket History regardless of the bowling attack. Cant wait for tonight.

I would think the two half chances they took well and truly made up for that.

The usual. Looked like a minefield when we were batting/looks like a road when they are batting.

Only thing stopping the Aussies from winning is if they continue to bowl the same crap as last night.
FFS pitch the ball up at the stumps like the 1st innings and reap the rewards instead of the short and wide rubbish that Johnson and Siddle bowl at times.

It would have to be the best slips cordon in world cricket at the moment by a fair way.

Boucher pretty solid keeper, Smith is a brilliant slipper, very rarely drops a catch apart from his little blunder on day 1. I cant remember the last time Kallis dropped a catch.

McKenzie has very good hands and AB Devilliers would nearly have the best hands in world cricket, some of his catches in the last 6 months have been breathtaking and the catch to dismiss Hughes last night was no exception.

Regardless of how it all pans out, how great it is to go into a final days play with all 3 results a legitimate possibility.

The series here and also what I've seen over in SA thus far has really renewed my interest in cricket, and reminded me of why it can be such a great game.
