England v South Africa, day five and South Africa are currently 6/160, still trial by 331. Bavuma just out LBW on review for 32 and now Philander plumb LBW not offering a shot. With his team mates falling around him Elgar is fighting hard for his team at 97 not out.

Englands 1.3.& 5 are pooh but there 6 (Stokes), 7 (Bairstow), and 8 (Ali) are the best in the business ATM (2 Cook, 4 Root)

Going to be a big ASHES series were' going to have take advantage of the weak top order
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I was going to ask the question here whether I was the only one who rated Bairstow. Not elite, but when he plays within his capabilities is very valuable in sticking with other batsmen (2013 Ashes over there another example). These are my impressions anyway, without having PayTV

Root as an number 4 would have to be the equal of anyone IMO.
