Whilst I don't necessarily disagree, if hasn't even been picked in this squad, I doubt he'll ever play test cricket. Also, can you imagine him being captain after 4 tests if Clarke gets injured?

Only comparing them from the view that the selectors gave Waugh a prolonged go when many were questioning if he should be in the team.
