And Pat Cummins took 20/20 wickets b4 he played Tests
And Nathan Lyon took 20/20 wickets b4 he played Tests
And Starc took a few 20/20 wickets to find form b4 he played on the Perth Test and found form there as well
And Ponting played a game of 20/20 this summer, and his form has improved

Works both ways

I think bowling in T20 is better to use as a form guide than batting for the fact that bowlers need to work harder to bowl tight and bowl to their fields etc.
Warner is the exception to the batting, yet his test ton came in a hurry so no real difference to batting in a T20 game

Bowling in a T20 has nothing to do with taking wickets in an orthodox manner and very little to do with actually containing the "batter".

Bowl it, hope it doesn't get smashed back at you first off, hope it doesn't go over the fence and if all goes well some bloke you met for the first time last week who is on your team might catch it just on the cusp of it screaming over the rope.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

BH 4/195 [20]
ROBINSON 25 [16] continues to impress, batted well early to get BH going
FORREST 33 [27] ok
LYNN 37*[17] hit 4 zacs, sensational innings from a sensational player
CHRISTIAN 75*[47] whats he doing over there, brilliant player

BH
were
1/9
2/14
3/44
But never stopped trying to make a big score
They were 0-4 in this comp now 3-4 and a feared team

ST
6/104 [20]
GAYLE 0 [1] it was all over when this one man team got out
DAY 29* [20] the only batsman who scored quickly enough and he batted 8
KHAWAJA 37[36] not a 20/20 cricketer, too slow

ST are the worst team in the comp
Not their fault got given an average squad
However not enough intent to score quickly
Khawaja batted too slowly + gave his team no hope of winning
Dunk 6[19]
Armstrong 4[14]
These guys batted 4 + 6 , their strike rates poor

MY VOTES
3 CHRISTIAN
2 LYNN
1 MCDERMOTT 2/25 and got Gayle out

MR 4/173 [20]
Good fightback by the Hurricanes
HH best chance of winning is to lose an early wicket and get Boom Boom Birt in during the powerplay
