That is a f*&king joke. Where is the benefit of the doubt gone, that was not a certainty that he was out.

He can't. Surely there was doubt there!

Looked out to me, bat on the line.

can't F***ing believe that two run out that simple were not needed.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

That's what they said on the Radio (inc the Pommy bloke), and then once the decision was handed down they said correct decision ... I dunno, I didn't see it, but sounded odd.

Consolation I got is a bet on Strauss for most series runs (who I think now leads?), but I'd much prefer North smacks a double ton, lose the bet and we retain the embers!!

You should not be getting run out in Test cricket.

But the camera shot wasnt right on the line so you couldnt tell for sure and the opposite angle was covered by Bell's boot, surely the 3rd ump can only give it out if the evidence is 100% clear

The frame when the bail was fully dislodged, you, well certainly I, couldn't be certain if there was no bat over the line. It was hard to see if any part of the bat was over the line but there was doubt there IMO.

Just when you thought the umpiring couldn't get any worse this happens. FFS no-one can say the third umpire had to make a split second decision and didn't have the benefit of the replays. Clarke was probably out but there is no way known that the footage was 100% conclusive and therefore it should never have been given out. Just staggering that such poor judgement can be made time and time again by the officials who are supposedly at the pinnicle of their field. I wish i could be that bad at my job and still get paid.

It was a terrible decision to leave the ball, not the first to do it and won't be the last. Had a solid series without being great.

So they can ruin a game by being the third umpire but they are not allowed to officiate in the middle. Bloody stupid if true.

This series would've been so much better had Benson and Taufel been able to umpire it.

I'm going out to enjoy one of the handful of decent summer days this shite country has produced in the 3 summers I've been here.

Hopefully when I get home no more wickets will be down. Long shot I know, but I can dream.
