Should be enough to have him play every game in all 3 forms for the entire Summer

That's what I thought should guarantee Test selection for the next 18 months at least!

To be fair he does deserve to be in the short formats given his form, and probably to start the first test too.

Agree with him deserving to in the team in the short form given his for , disagree with him getting a start in the test side but who else do we have to play in the middle order? (Under no circumstances should he be considered an opening batsman option).

How the holy Batshit is the SA game not on TV but the Qld v NSW game is FFS

I took the Redbacks at $2.85 today they play a lot better without expectation. Boof Jnr to peel off a crisp 50 odd

How the hell did they beat the mappa's?

I'm not convinced that their inclusion has been a good thing.

Ditto, apart from the fluke against Tasmania they have been comprehensively walloped in every game so far. Still have to play the Jellys though

SA 8/186 (47.0 ov)

J. Lehmann 58 (89)
C. Ferguson 39 (45)

Hopefully we can push above 200!

198 not great. Stoinos getting 4fa is a little embarrassing  Well done to Boofa junior for doing what soooooo many Redbacks before him have failed to do, hold an innings together

With 9 players having played for Australia in the Vic squad I think we would be at long odds to win from here.

I know we tend to crucify my beloved Redbacks on here but surely Ludemans position in the 50 over format will come under threat. Averaging barely double figures. Perhaps a move down the order as what works in one format may not necessarily work in another.

SA 198 (49.2ov)

Jake Lehmann only real shining light.. would need to produce our best bowling and fielding effort to win this one.

I agree 100% also with Ludeman at the top of the order instead of a genuine bat it makes our middle order look very weak.

Ludeman is a capable bat and good keeper, if he is going to stay in the side then he's got to bat lower order.

Head
Raphael
Ferguson
Cooper
Lehmann
Ross
Ludeman
Zampa

Suddenly looks a deeper batting lineup IMO.

We have never really had that batting balance since the retirement of Glenn Bishop

Kelvin Smith, Cosgrove, Raphael, Page Jnr, whoever I don't care - point is Ludeman needs to move down and we need to look at specialist batsmen instead of sacrificing a position for an average all rounder.
