Warner 50* (69) and clarke 22* (30)
Aus 2/106 off 25.2 overs

Great too see Warner back up his 160 odd with the another 50. Showing some consistency, which is my biggest question of him in the middle form of the game.

Hope to see him back it up with another ton

Where are the guys that were calling for Warner's head?
The little thrasher was just having a slight blip on the radar. He will be around for a long time hopefully.

I was one that thought he shouldn't have been in the side in the one day format. However, i thought he wouldn't be dropped as he has had a lot of time and resources invested into him by Cricket Australia. Its great to see him produce because he is definitely one of my favourite players in world cricket

Before he had even played a FC game for NSW and was just that T20 blaster, I remember someone on here giving me shit for saying he would be a future Test cricketer.

Take that...guy! ;)

Warner is not in the team to chew up 140 balls for 100 runs, there really isn't a place for that sort of innings in this day and age.
That being said, if he can consistently score international runs, then I will jog on to the apology thread.

Two innings is not consistency.

BTW, I do want to see him succeed.

Great knock Pup!

Slow wicket. Lost two earlyish wickets. Built a platform and ended up playing a supporting role to Clarke.

Was a good innings
