So in the last 12 months the Aussies have played in 9 Test Matches...
Hussey has played all 9, scored 737 runs at 52.64 with 3 100's, 3 50's and 3 ducks.
Clarke has played all 9, scored 856 runs at 61.14 with 4 hundreds, 1 50 and 1 duck.
Ponting has played in 8, scored 549 runs at 39.21 with 1 hundred and 4 50's and 2 ducks.
Clarke's stats are pumped up by this innings, but even without that he has been a standout, think Hussey has also shown he is still in the best XI while Ponting still needs to continue his current form otherwise the headhunters will continue to chase him...
I reckon if ponting can continue to average above 40-45 then he should stay in the team, although that average is not setting the world on fire it is pretty reasonable and he adds so much experience to the team!
