Thats what happens when u play GOOD test teams.
Australia won so many Test matches for about 15 years partly due to their tailenders contributing good runs regularly.
Yes it is frustrating but Aust only have themselves to blame by blowing their 1st innings with the bat. Also theres a fine line between wrapping a innings up quickly or not. Lyon had a 50/50 lbw turned down and Clarke drops a catch at 2nd slip. If If IF ?
If Aust get beaten it's bcos they arnt good enough. Thats cricket, get over it. ;)

Cummins ends up with 6/79 on debut!

We need 310 to win.

Finally got Steyn, pitched up outside off stump, wow what a revelation! I can never understand the tactic of bowling at tailenders leg stump and ribs when they're trying to thrash everything over mid wicket....

Pat Cummins joins special company, Brett Lee, Terry Alderman, Rodney Hogg, Dennis Lillee and Clarrie Grimmett are just five of the 31 individuals to have snared five wickets on Test debut for Australia.

Watson bowled by Philander. Eeep.

From 1/0, I'm thinking we could get around 220. If Ponting and Haddin continue their current form, 150.

On 2 January, 2003, Steven Waugh went out to bat in the Australian first innings. There had been intense media speculation that one of Australia's greatest ever warriors would be dropped should he have failed. What happened next Steve Waugh described as a perfect day.

Note to Ricky... You can do what Waugh should have done... Got the fairytale hundred and retired. Do it.

I have the DVD of that day it's good to watch occasionally. Especially with Andrew Denton Being the 12th man for the day and going out with drinks and having no idea what to say and what Nasser says was funny as well. i was also at cricket training when it happened and the whole club was inside watching that final ball.
