That's crap Mal. He claimed a catch he never took. That's cheating.

Yep, you are correct AH. Strauss is a cheat and a liar. His blatant lying when questioned over the 12th man and the obese physio running on the field in the first Test was embarrassing. I used to respect the guy but not now.

Ditto.

lets give Strauss the benefit of the doubt, when its close to the ground you can think it carried but Rudi should have refered it to the 3rd umpire and he should not umpire another test this series. Wheres Billy Bowden. and they have missed a few no balls in this match, thats inexcusable

CHEATS. I had to leave the gym before I ripped the TV off the wall.

On the brightside it is raining again where I am. Unfortunately I have no sense of direction so I have no idea if the rain will make it to Lords.

Given Australia's luck it will probably rain during lunch and clear up just in time to go back out.

THE JOKER and me [good tune]
Spot on
The rest of youse are understandably angry
Give STRAUSS the benefit of the doubt ?

FAULT
HUGHES 1% for playing the shot
STRAUSS 29% for not referring it
UMPIRES 66% for not referring it
BOTH PARENTS OF THE UMPIRES 4%[1% each] for not wearing condoms

If you're near Wimbledon, then I believe Lords is approx 20Km North from you. ;)

mal, you and I have both played enough cricket to know whether you're sure you've taken a catch.

At the very least, when Hughes asked Strauss if he had caught it, he should have said he wasn't sure.

Moving on as we can't change history only shape it, don't want to jinx it but 'lil Ricky is looking very solid, a la Old Trafford 2005...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Me too, very disappointing to see that sort of stuff going on.

These are the best 2 to be at the crease in this situation, regardless of form.

PS.

Not at that stage if he had thought he HONESTLY thought he caught it

When Ponting intervened and said he thought it was inconclusive

STRAUSS should have said
" No probs lads I reckon I caught it lets get a referral to sort it out."
Irrespective the umps should have initiated a reFERRAL at that instance

STRAUSS unspotsmanlike YES
STRAUSS cheat ????? inconclusive

RED+BLACK and the anti STRAUSS cheer club
WE have all thought we have been right at some stages in life

This is a true story

It was the early 80s
I picked up this beautiful woman
She was a New Zealand Moari feMALe
feeling was mutual
I WAS SURE I WAS GUNNA SCORE [and thought I would be right]
Back to her flat
I got undressed
Jumped in her bed
She jumped in
I WAS SURE I WAS GUNNA SCORE NOW [and absloutely thought I was right]
I placed my hand in her lap
I felt a hard protruding object
It was a man ....

From being absolutely right I was absolutely wrong
