Clearly the commentators have no idea then.
I don't know how to explain it any simpler than what Coverking did.
The game did not need to 5 overs to be bowled as the stars reached the target in 2.1 overs.
Perhaps another way to explain it is if the Stars were chasing the 60 odd that the scorchers made and got them in 4.5 overs it is still a game even though they didnt recieve 5 overs. There isn't a rule that says you must take 5 overs to reach your target
