The commentators were even saying before the game that with the rain coming they would need to get to the 5th over of the second innings for it to be considered a game. That didnt happen.

Clearly the commentators have no idea then.
I don't know how to explain it any simpler than what Coverking did.

The game did not need to 5 overs to be bowled as the stars reached the target in 2.1 overs.
Perhaps another way to explain it is if the Stars were chasing the 60 odd that the scorchers made and got them in 4.5 overs it is still a game even though they didnt recieve 5 overs. There isn't a rule that says you must take 5 overs to reach your target

Only trying to put it into simple terms for the guys that are having trouble working out what happened

Adelaide batting first, all teams batting first have lost in the BBL so far this season

Hope not but the batting line ups foxtel have put up before the game have been correct every time except the occasional situation swap.
