Second test - Aus v West Indies

Any one of the four possible results is still in play for tomorrow, a timely reminder of how Test cricket is (a) the only decent cricket to watch and (b) the truest indicator of a player's ability.

Can't wait.

Suppose they can get a bit confused sitting all day in their air conditioned box behind tinted windows.
Dont they use lights for tests these days anyway if it gets a bit gloomy?
Looks like the rains cleared off for the day looking at the radar. :D
Lets hope the Windies can bowl well, hold their catches and really push hard for victory to make it another memorable finish to an Adelaide Oval Test and Re-confirm Adelaide as the BEST test pitch in the world.

330 set for us to win, will be the highest successfully chased total at the Adelaide Oval if we do it.

Gayle not out - that means he will be on the field of play for every ball since just after lunch on Saturday - 11 sessions in a row!

I just read the following on the cricinfo match summary.

"Glenn: "Completely selfish approach by Gayle, more interested in the perceived kudos of carrying his bat than setting a target. Typical of his captaincy and entire career.""

I think it's a bit harsh, you would think arguably the best cricket team in the world could must 300 in a day on home soil, less than 3.5 per over at Adelaide.

Benn is immediately looking threatening. This is where Katich needs to get to the drop of the ball quickly, advance and use the spin to work the singles and twos. Plenty of runs there for him if he works overtime with the feet.

Katich gone, 1/33

He looked shakier than Watto and just tried to free the arms against a bit of pace, caught driving one through the air.

Punter is due for a big innings.

Punter needs a captain's knock here.

Hopefully Watto can chime in with another majestic 96....
