Well, whose fault is that? Thornley came in at 3/13 and the quicks haven't bowled all that many overs. I know you're a man down but surely it was worthwhile giving Dizzy a couple of extra overs or bringing back Harris if Dom is as suspect against the quicks as you say.

Blue Boys 3/83 with Ducker Thornley on 40 not out. Top of the ladder beckons but this has hardly been a convincing performance with no Boof, Cosgrove and the Backs being a bowler down. The top order is a bloody shambles. Perhaps it's time to bring in that Christian who looked so promising at times last season. Sheesh..we are even missing Corey Richards I'd say!

Just had a look at the second XI scorecard and NSW were 6/106 so not much batting back up and no sign of Christian in that line up. A guy called Hughes was on 49 not out so Lambert may be looking over his shoulder a bit or at least, he should be.
