Definitely proved to us as a cricketing public that he should continue to be a first chocie quick in the team despite how expensive and non threatening we thought he could of been against this England team and the way they play.

Some of us wanted him to play from the Starc…I mean start

How ginger does Moeen look bowling, has no acceleration and momentum through the crease and his action whatsoever, definitely getting some assistance off the pitch through. Surely his spell won't last too long and Root replaces him soon enough.

Regardless of the result today/tomorrow the intent shown by the openers at the moment has been refreshing to watch and begs the question, why haven't they been able to do this more during the series?

Have they mentioned why Wood hasn't bowled yet?

Hoping the ball roughs up more for reverse swing for him

Maybe the go slow tactic of the first innings was aimed at burning some of the English lads out... def Wood bowled a lot and was trundling at high 130s by the end.

They just did: they want to get some reverse swing going then let him rip.

Beggars belief that it takes til the last day before the top order show what they should - footwork
Admittedly Khawaja has tried most innings

Strange tactics to he honest. Wood not bowling in the first session with the new ball. I know they need to manage his work load as he's an impact bowler, but still a 2 or 3 over burst just after drinks would have been handy.

Man of the Series is very much out in the open - it should be Khawaja's if he gets a ton here and the win

If Warner makes 150 and guides us home then I’m more than happy for him to decide when he retires

It’s been our tactic all series to get the overs into the English bowlers
1. To fatigue them
2. Take time out of the game and make England go harder when they bat thereby causing errors as we have seen when they lose clumps of wickets line 6-50 last innings.

IMO the issue with our tactics at time this series is we’ve lacked variety. Too short with our bowling, fields to spread, batting too slow. We’ve lacted variety and intent to get a wicket of put pressure back on Englands bowlers.

Yup, if Warner tons up and we draw or win this test. He gets to chose his exit.

We have batted well so far, went out there with intent and to play for the win and look what happens with a bit of pressure back on the bowlers by looking to score.

The rain is interesting, England are desperate for that reverse swing, and additional cloud cover and moisture will do that but with a were outfield, thr first time the ball hits the deck then that's it for reverse.

Massive session tonight if the weather can hold.

Same...great character of the game. A big part of the reason we have been blessed with some cracker Ashes throughout the 2000's.
