Cummins hasn't had a gallop for a long time. Siddle will be the work horse picked.

No first class game for 2 years I think?? Amazing/scary to think he could be called upon by series end

Cummins last FC match was South Africa A vs Australia A July 31- August 2 2013.

It's an absolute joke that they picked Cummins to replace Harris.

Where is all this discussion about Cummins coming from? :?

There is absolutely no way he is going to be considered for a test match.. he's scheduled to play his first game tomorrow for the NPS at Allan Border Field - let him get through that first! Would think the likes of Pattinson would be considered before Cummins anyway.

If England continue to produce decks like the one for the 1st test, I would almost think that Ahmed might be a chance for a call up at some stage and rotate the quicks around the 2x spinners.

Only quicks in the squad not selected are Siddle and Cummins aren't they? So you'd think it's unlikely they'd go outside them. Maybe Bird because he's over there already playing county cricket. Pattinson no chance.

Time to dump the all rounder. Neither Watson or Marsh are going to add enough with the ball to justify their position and neither are good enough with the bat.

You can't pick 2 average spinners and hope they make a good one between them. One or the other at this stage.

Find the best bat you can and put them at 6. Bird in for Starc if Starc doesn't come up. Realistically though it's probably Siddle.

So they added him to the squad but he isn't in England? Surely not.

He might be in England now, but he certainly wasn't when the was called into the squad

Cummins has joined the squad in England.

He'll play the 3 day tour match after the Lords Test. Starc looks like he'll be right for Lords though.

I value how logical it was to send Cummins over
He is too valuable a 20/20 player for Australia to risk in a 5 day test match if needed

I haven't taken much notice of Nevill's keeping, but are you telling us that Wade is a better keeper than him?

Haddin out?

Corey Norris ‏@coreynorris9 48m48 minutes ago

A dejected looking Brad Haddin stood on balcony of dressing room while remainder of team trained in nets. Big story brewing here at Lord's.
