Yep, his selections are as boring as his batting was.
Get rid if the Saffer muppet aswell.
Give Boof a job FFS, won the T20, into the Ryobi final and still in the running for a Shield final berth.

What was he like as a player LM? He was before my time. Assuming he wasn't really a household name?

I seen him at the arse end of his career when he moved to SA from WA, he played into his 40's, an honest offie that could bat pretty good aswell. He probably should've played more tests for Australia.
To have a stand named after you must've meant he was pretty handy for WA.

Only saw him later on aswell and remember him batting slower than Boycott, was hard to dismiss but wasnt pretty too watch. Dont think his career record was outstanding but he was a fairly shrewd tactician and excellant skipper. Think the stand is named after him because he won 4 or 5 shield titles in 6 years as skipper and gave great service to the State

I forgot he had the stand named after him, my bad. Sounds like the type of cricketer that was very good at state level but couldn't quite make it at the top level or didn't quite get the opportunity.

Not sure if he deserved more test matches, his test match figures look a lot like Steve Smith's ;)
