Worrying that we ended up in this situation again, could of easily gone against us.

Watson can bowl at the death but who else???

Christian will be dropped for Forrest...why would they not bowl him eariler.

Pattinson for Mckay as well. Shite bowling and shite fielding is not good enough.

Id still like to see Clarkey bowl a bit more.
No need for Christian now the superstar is back.
Forrest to come in for Adelaide, Hilfy or Pattinson to make way for McKay.

Christian to play in front of Forrest
Forrest would be batting at 7 in this line up
Chrisitan is a better player at 7 than Forrest
Christian is a better bowler than Forrest
Christian is a better fieldsman than Forrest

Forrest to bat at 4, Christian batted at 4 tonight.
Forrest is a far superior batter to Christian.

So Mike Hussey arguably the best ODI batsman in the team comes in at 7 in your line up
No Jim
Forrest will disrupt the balance of the team if selected

Why play Christian if he is only going to come on as the sixth bowler and bowl a couple of overs, his batting is average at best.

Can't have Forrest and Clarke at 4 and 5 IMO. Both play way too similar.

Christian is definitely still a required player in that side.

Quiz
Who was the last Australian bowler to take a hat trick on ODIs ?

Clue
It was not Peter Forrest

Next game
Warner out, Forrest in
Warner looks too injured to risk

Clarke rates him that highly that he brings him on 7th change and bowls him 4 overs :?
I just dont see Christian getting much of bowl now Watto is fit unless another bowler is dropped.

Agree with Jim, the selectors imho will consider the best balanced attack to be

3 quicks- Pattinson, Hilfenhaus, Lee, McKay etc etc
1 spinner- Doherty or Lyon
1 all rounder- Watson
couple of part timers- D & M Hussey, Clarke

imho with Watson in the side they will try and get the specialist batsmen in for Christian.

Unfortunately Christian out, Forrest in,
Warner (only if fit)
Wade
Watson
Forrest
Clarke
D Hussey
M Hussey

and four bowlers.

Watson/D Hussey between them will bowl more than ten.

Christian wont play. Chokes to much with the bat, especially a pathetic a run out and a stumping or two. Bowling might save hime and maybe B Lee can **** off and Watson will bowl closer to 10 overs
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

Exactly why the credibility of our great game is SHOT ... i used to never miss watching a game for the summer and now im lucky to watch 50% of a game . How can you take it seriously when you have blokes representing your country after spending the test series sitting in the air conditioned comfort of the commentary box. Id rather see us lose and blood the kids
