Hussey and Ponting have to go.
How bad were Clarke's two dismissals this test? Lets one go that knocks out his stumps first dig and then plays a shocking shot second dig, needed a captains innings today

I think Hussey will get another crack.

Would love to see Cowan get a gig. Been a big wrap for him for a while.

What a great spot for Warner, this is what childhood dreams are made of, you are nearing 100 and your country needs you to win a test.

As for Hussey, he could replace Starc, he certainly bowls better!

Outs: Hughes, Ins: Christian
Khawaja to open up in the India series, Christian to bat at six, and every one else move up a spot.

Ponting, Haddin, Hussey should all be a series by series proposition now.
Ponting and Haddin did enough in recent innings to retain, Hussey has had a shocker, but was good in Sri Lanka.

Watching Maddinson and Cowan's form for opening slots and Watto's fitness, Marsh's fitness and perhaps Tom Cooper's form for a middle order berth, and Wade's efforts to perhaps take over from Haddin.

Would love him to open with Warner, said many times he looks a natural opener but we would need to bring in another batsman. Ponting wont make a run at 3 and Clarke's record at 4 is ordinary. Cant bump them up the order

I hope Warner develops into an enforcer like Matty Hayden. Early in his career, Haydos had technical deficiencies, but worked hard to overcome them. Warner has that mental toughness to do the same.

Spot on. He seems willing to learn and he has worked his butt off to eliminate the T20 only tag
