8 out of the 22 Ryobi Cup GF players have been delisted...possibly 9 if Habbers gets the arse.

Harris
OB
Dud
Crosthwaite
Borgas
Wells
Laughlin
Jones

Im assuming all of these 8 players will still play big roles in next years ryobi cup regardless

Would have thought Kruger will be contacted as we need top order Batsmen -

Jones will bring speculation as questions over the keeping spot are un answered

No point. Kruger averaged less than 6 in 10 or more innings last year in the Shield. No thanks.

Jones, well he is ok, but I would be going extremely hard at Triffit since Paine will be back soon. Jones batting is rather poor. We need a keeper that can average 30 with the bat, without dropping his keeping skills.

Drew, I think our pace stocks are ok without him.

I did hear we were having a fair crack at Peter Nevill as our keeper.

Yeah I heard it on there and read it in a few interviews, but doing a quick search on the net then, seems Paine himself has said in mid Jan that he expects to keep again, coverking could well be right

Does anyone have a list of the keepers for each team in the district comp and their stats for the previous season?

Yeah made over 500 runs in shield cricket in an ordinary side, when Haddin was dropped back to shield and kept they still retained him in the side as a batsman.
Fair chance Haddin will be playing a lot for NSW this season so if Nevill wants to keep he may have to move.

Tim Ludeman (Port Adelaide) 447 @ 37.25 (12th overall), 24 dismissals (broke A grade innings record during season) dropped from First Class cricket
Harry Burns-Howe (Prospect) 398 @ 26.53 (15th) 25 dismissals and 3 runouts
Brad Davis (Sturt) 392 @ 39.2 (16th), 33 dismissals and 3 runouts
Adam Crosswaite (West Torrens) 347 @ 57.83 (23rd), 21 dismissals 1 runout still played 10 games despite finishing season as the state number 1 glovesman
Pattrick Connelley (Kensignton) 329 @ 18.28 (28th), 25 dismissals
Josh Barrett (Southern) 234 @ 16.71 , 22 dismissals

Hasn't played a first class game since Feb 2010, only averages 24.3, I'd pass.

Yep we won the 1Day comp we need to fix our 4 day form, he wont improve this at all. If we are going to have a bloke who averages mid 20's i would rather it be a young bloke with the potential to improve over the next few seasons.

Surely we don't need to consider getting another keeper? Although I would back keeping Crossie, having seen him take some of the best catches I have ever seen taken by a keeper and played some wonderful innings (when used properly: not as a pinch hitter as the Strikers used him), between Davey and Raphael we have two young excellent keepers.
