Good work by the lefty spinner to drop Silva. We used to use the tactic in lower grades, if there was some bloke who was struggling to make the run rate, keep him in and apply the pressure without getting him out. I know it's not the same grade, but the pressure would be enormous in the world cup.

BTW, these reviews are a waste of time.

Lol deliberately drop a catch, interesting! Never do that cause it can come back and bite you in the ass. Easiest way to win is to get the 10 wickets.

At this stage Silva is Sri Lankas only hope.

7/232 off 46

46 off 24 needed

Everyone seems to talk about BOOM BOOM Afridi, but he is a gun spinner in a winning side IMO...

300 ODI wickets, but 215 @ 26 rpw in a winning side, a bowling average of 57  when they lose...

Put simply, if he performs with the ball, they're gonna win.

Can't agrue with you there Jim. The bad pakistan will come, but they are not only playing well but also seem to be out there to prove the world that they are here to win. Still well done to them, Sri Lanka were and probably still are one of the favourites for the cup.

28.5J Anderson to G Gambhir4FOUR! 22nd ODI fifty for Gambhir! It was the chinese cut that brought him that boundary,

Tendulkar really is a class above, a pleasure to watch.
