Will be raining off and on all day, start of play delayed by about 15 mins and supposedly the poms have declared.

Well we need 522 to win and most importantly have to bat two days to save the test. In the words of Alan Jeans, "Crisis creates opportunity...."
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

But dont forget the zillions of times its nver been done
Happened about twice at Lords once in the 1800sand the other early 1900s in lower class games

COMMENTS
A commentator says KATICH will not play shots outside off stump early in his innings
NEXT BALL driven for 4
Soon after slash caught at gully
AU
1/17
SCARDY KAT 10* [If he gets past Flintoff a big score very possible]
He is very entertaining

I wonder if the press are there in case SCARDY CAT hits a leg side 4 !!!!!

Makes sense to me, get all out today, have the day off tomorrow in London, then start firing up for the 3rd test.

Did you just see that Kato's ball was a no ball that wasn't called?

We can't take a trick this Test.

I bet the Queen is going to knight the Pommy bastards after this Test.

How can they claim that as a catch ... definitely grasses.

Punter is within his rights to be fuming.

Just not going to happen today for us.

If they'd kept the referral system, both openers would be still in

Edit: they probably would not have asked for the Katich dismissal.
