1 then a Golden Duck, a dropped catch and then 3 wickets in an over to win a test match.

Test cricket at its best.

Wonder if that is the first time Pup has taken more wickets in a test match than runs he has scored

Whether they would or not it's a bit rich crying foul about Australia's sportsmanship when others do that.

CLARK has only taken 3 wickets in Australia

What a team
What a skipper
16 in a row
One over left

CLARK 3/5
KUMBLE NOT OUT watches his pathetic team mates give up AGAIN
India so much abilty so little heart

Mal

Refresh my memory, Clarke also has a 6 for not much in test cricket ??

6/9 off 38 balls but we still lost that test match

I didn't get to watch the game today as i was at work with no radio reception so have only got scores of the net.
Would the time wasting tactic have worked any way? Isn't there a certain amount of overs that had to be bowled in the day regardless of time or had we already bowled the minimun requirement.

We still had to bowl 8 balls regardless of the time.

Thats what i thought so why would he want to stall time all it does is give Ponting longer to form a plan and set the most astute field positions and have the right fielders in the right positions. Had he have got to the crease quickly he may have slightly hurried the aussies up.

i think the aussies were going to try and bowl over the min overs required because the over rate did increase during the last session

One wonders for the last over who would have got the ball

Roy would have had to bowl the last over but wouldn't have been surprised to see Johnson thrown the ball

The stalling tactics were to ensure Australia didn't have the time to bowl more than the minimum required overs. If they bowled the minimum and time was left they could have kept bowling until the official time for close of play. In the end that would possibly have been one over.

if they had 3 wickets left would have given the ball to Jaques, that would have them totally confused
