He is a spoilt brat, private school pedigree to i believe and thats how he comes across to the averge Joe, some of us are a bit quicker on the uptake, the rest of you will get there in time when youre not blinded by his performances with the willow.
Nothing shits me more than a batsman who takes forever to get off the ground after being dismissed. anyone who does that in my club i certainly let them know. You should be quick to get out there, sows intent and quick to get off, with any luck theres a few hours in between.

You're certainly not blinded by facts, given he went to a State High School in Wollongong and left school early to try and make a go of it as a professional cricketer.

I'm certainly not blinded by his performances with the willow just appreciating a bloke who had to work at his game after both his 1st class and test debuts to make himself as bloody good test cricketer. Something that all Australians admire, people who succeed through hard work,

As I've said before I wish he would keep his cards closer to his chest with his emotions so it keeps his opponents guessing and gives them lest ammunition to get him wound up and off his game. He's not perfect or worthy of being classified as a deity. His captaincy has areas for improvement but I have no problems with him showing his disappointment at getting out especially when he deems it his fault, like I believe he did yesterday.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Christ were going to need 400 with the bowling line up we have today. Ball, willey and curran as your pace bowlers is truly yuck.

Well at least the fears of the new stadium pitch becoming just another drop in wicket are unfounded.
Looks like a typical WACA wicket to me, probably more so than the WACA of late. i like it

the question i have is - surely the waca pitch sources its clay from somewhere and its not just the waca soil.

so why dont we all just go get that soil for every pitch?

(or not necessarily the waca soil, just engineer it for the characteristics we want)

Pitches need to go back to how they were. We had the quick, green tops and spinners paradise.

Now we get just flat boring driveways.

Lacks the pace required for his stock ball which means he is easily dealt with by International batsmen? Hasn't got the toys (variety/movement) to trouble top-class batsmen. In others words a good domestic bowler but that's it.

OK, might have to re-consider the above....
