If we were to recruit a young interstate cricketer, would we be happy with someone coming off a 400-run season, batting in the top four, and averaging under 40? Or would be be saying he's yet another hack?

NSW picking up 1st innings points today has ensured that SA will collect its third consecutive wooden spoon :(

I just wish you could bet on the spoon, like AFL. I would be rich

Christian would have taken the shield player of the year if he'd played more than 5 games, was done by 1 vote.

Yes i believe Ludeman had a 2 year contract, still has 1 year remaining.
Hey FS heard a whisper that Haberfield may not be offered a contract, surely this is not true, can you confirm this?

Jake hasnt indicated anything to me when I have spoke to him, would pretty average to drop the leading wicket taker in the 1 day format. Has things to work on for sure, but he had an injury free year this year for the first time in a long time, bowled one really bad spell in the shield against Vic i reckon it was but recovered after that and got dropped the next game.... Talking with a few state lads and they thought the announcement on the weekend was Steve Smith....

Brady Jones, Nick Kruger and Brendan Drew all cut from Tas squad..... Any interest?

Would have thought Kruger will be contacted as we need top order Batsmen -

Jones will bring speculation as questions over the keeping spot are un answered
