VI 233
FINCH 83[124]
MCDONALD 65[92]
BUTTERWORTH 4/62[19] prolific wicket taker this season

TA 266
COWAN 101[270] great recruit
SIDDLE 4/66[25.3] heeza beauty

VI 351
CARTERS 50[109] runs at last !
FINCH 66[154] good match
At 4/111 Vi were in strife but that man came in
QUINEY 106[180] that man is making a habit of making runs when really really needed of late
At 9/308 TA only 275 behind would have licking thier lips
Then
SIDDLE 25[42]
MCDONALD 21*[23] batting at 11 such is the batting depth of VI in this game ....

TA need 318 to win
STUMPS DAY3
TA 1/1 [4]
COWAN 1 [12]
KRUGER 1* [6]
DOOLAN 0*[6]

This is sure to raise eyebrows
WRIGHT + PATTINSON opened the bowling in front of Peter SIDDLE

RESULT

I was thinking exactly the same. The only reason would be the standard of the batters throughout the country is rather substandard so it's easier to get wickets?

449 lead with one day to go
Fair dinkum, absolute disgrace
NS 32
VI 14
thats the points after the first innings result
TA are 2nd on the ladder with 26 points and are playing WA now
WHY DIDNT NSW DECLARE 30 MINUTES B4 STUMPS ????????????

You would think NS may well have declared 400 in front and with approximately 105 overs to bowl
But then again 18 points in front with 2 games and 1 innings left for VI is too risky ...

Maybe concerned with one less bowler (Stuart Clark injured) that Victoria with an outright win could end up making the Shield Final?

I am assuming 6 points is the maximum points per game
THEN

NS 32
VI 14
They are the points after the 3rd innings b4 the declaration

IF
NS lose this game outright and fail to pick up a point in thier last games = 32 points
VI win and then win the last 2 games outright = 32 points[for 3 x 6 points ?]

IF NS are worried about all that happening then I am flabbergasted

Meanwhile just to further emphasise how gutless or wrong NS are

TA V WA

WA 6/95

6 points to TA = 32 points

What IF NS loses the home final now .....

I LOOKed at the ladder a few days ago, I worked it out
Surely the NS mob did
So I think they are GUTLESS or perhaps concerned that CLARK is injured
