WA look like they're going for the win! Pomersback 43 off 27 balls! Cullen 25 runs in his second over.

Slight problem is that they might not leave themselves enough time to bowl us out again.

On second thoughts.........

GET ON WITH IT OR GET THE F%$K OUT!

JJ we have set out innings up..... we have only faced 66 overs. we had a tricky few over before the last session. We opened with 2 debutants and rely on this partnership to get us well into the 200s. First innings points are the priority here and how we get those 2 points it doesnt matter. Its confidence we need and knowing we can actually win a game will see us be able to chase down runs quicker etc and go for an outright

F.Smart. - Do you count getting 2 points for a 1st innings win as WINNING the game? The way the points structure is, Outrights are all that count and if SA are going to be content with 2 1st inngs points then we'll be waiting a long, long long time for the ultimate success.
Realistically, SA gave themslves little chance of an outright with their go-slow tactics.

I would have thought having WA 3/28 gives you every chance of outright. Obviously someone needed to standup for WA and Pomersbach did.

Pomersbach has put an end to the go slow method of all the other batsmen and has showed the pitch (on day4) is good enough to score quickly on.

CRASH! And another. No doubt these last 4 need to fall in a hurry though. And then we'll need a few overs to hit the runs. Still up against it but this is a cricket match after all.....

Called a draw. Good to get some points and be on the push for outright points. Nice to have another side batting for a draw instead of us for a change!
