What has happened to Cam Borgas since he dislocated his shoulder last year ?
His innings for SA this year
P/C V VIC 0+0
F/C V VIC 0
P/C V NS 0
This is the batsman I predicted would make the most P/C runs for SA this season

What will happen to FERGUSON after his 82 today ? [BOOF + COSI to be picked next game]

clearly Borgas drops out again and the captain should have the blow torch seriously applied to him. Looking at Boof on Wednesday night he looked to be in some serious discomfort from either back/Achilles and I don't think that they are telling us the full story. I'm tipping he will miss at least the next one also

LMAO. Nicholson just scored a ton in his last match and he's a tailender. He'd walk into your top order. No mate, we'll be fine thanks.

Long tail REB

FORREST has he made a 50 yet ?
LAMBERT regular failure
COWAN nearly a good bat
THORNLEY over rated shits himself v fast bowlers
HADDIN your keeper is the 2nd best bat
KATICH year of the kat and needs to make runs or NSW are in troubl
Not a good line up when your keeper is clearly your 2nd best bat

very harsh on Thornley Mal
Remember him getting pretty well into line last summer in the same fixture, playing a match winning hand against tait- including hooking him for six off his nose to win the game- i thinkthornley is a good honest shield player nothing more or less- and his record backs that up. to say he shits himself is a pretty big call. he may in your opinion have a weakness against short bowling but alot of blokes have a weakness against outswingers and we dont say they shit themselves- has made runs for middlesex in county cricket, ad NSW for a fair few years now and im sure the redbacks would have him

STUMPS re THORNLEY
Past and present players have told me he is timid against fast bowlers who in
particular bowl short pitched deliveries at his body.
He had a promotion to number 3 in some games this year and was ordinary
Batting at 5-6 against spinners and meduim pacers is where he excels.

Just for future reference keep an eye on Dom when he bats and watch how he handles aggressive quicks.

Interestingly, Tom Plant was given a phonecall half hour before the game to let him know to 'get to Adelaide Oval ... you're opening the batting'. He didn't have his phone on him, missed the call, and hence Cam Borgas got the call-up (Ferg was already on standby).

0/24 at stumps

Elliott 17 off 13 balls, mustve been watching Jayasuria and how he decided to play attacking cricket, and thought I can do that. Ive watched Michael Jordan play..doesnt mean that I can do it too.

Even though NSW made 309, I still feel the SA bowling attack looked much better with Cleary in the side. If some of those catches were held then it would have been a fair bit better. Still the batting is still a problem like always. Hopefully cam Borgas gets some runs or something.

CLEARY has done his back in
ELLIOTT should attack, thats how he succeeds in o/d cricket.

At the test yesterday when I heard the happy news that Katich has scored yet another ton and that the good tailender at best Matty Nicholson knocked up a handy 44 that would make many a Redback blush. Mally not completely wrong about our batting though and for mine SA are back in this match. Ferguson batting well again I see for the backs.
