Lol what a ******* debacle. Head now gets the 4 runs that was put as leg byes after England waited for the umpire to signal the leg byes.

Even so, it was pitching probably 4 inches down leg side.

Review lost and 4 runs to Head.

Whilst I agree with you, his average in first innings is 9. That will be something he needs to improve upon sharply!

in his 6 tests he has a ton and 3 50's, current average 46, looks a great long term prospect for the poms.

So did Ollie Pope……………

That’s my point it’s not uncommon for players to come and have great starts to their careers and then fade away once they get worked out.

I hope for Bethells sake it doesn’t happen and he looks a player but time is going to be the judge.[/quote]He also was happy to be patient and work the ball and hang tough rather than going bazball stupid and trying to slog his way through.

We have seen it with alot of there batsmen. If they put their heads down and do the hard work they can genuinely bat. But thr bazball way is the way for them.

Stokes is not happy, and Carse has almost blown a fuse at the umpire, and I think they both have a point here.

Would Stokesy be OK with Jake sticking around if he's been fired with no reviews left but knows he's not out?
