I just assumed the injury was not concussion related.

Correct, Dowrich injured his right hand whilst keeping in NZ's innings. Shamarh Brooks took the gloves when Dowrich left the field.

Dumb rule IMO, break your hand and it doesn't matter but a concussion you can be replaced.
