It's not ideal but realistically there is no other viable option. Bess has fallen away, Ahmed is only 19 and Jacks isn't good enough. The lack of spin depth is is due to them never getting to bowl in county due to the pitches. The reason Leach improved is because he played for essentially the only team that played on more of a spinners wicket at Somerset and got to bowl consistently.

According to the guys on the Unplayable Podcast Liam Livingstone was named as an option by some English media!

I understand there's a lack of spin depth but on the Wisden podcast Mark Butcher (also perplexed by Ali coming back) did make the point of why have a First Class, Red Ball system in place in which cricketers play in to therefore be picked to play for England and then just pick a guy who hasn't played First Class cricket in almost two years. Interesting to see how it works for Ali.

I am so freakin pumped for this series.
It's going to be a genuine contest.
Stokes will fall on his sword and we'll win 3-1.

Yes can be streamed on the 9Now app as far as I can see, I just redownloaded the app on my Tablet and today's play is promoted on the app. The news is working on it so it should be good to go for the cricket.

Good call mate, not a real shock selection I reckon. Hopefully Hazlewood is right to go!

Crawley to face the music straight away.

Interesting move, I’ll just back the selectors on this one.

This is what i never understood about the Starc creating footmarks for Lyon argument.

Toss is done we bat last, lucky we don't have Starc creating footmarks now.
