The best thing about Mitch is also his worst, he always looks like he get a wicket but he also always looks like he could go for runs and heavy runs.

He has to go to England and India IMO because we desperately need his wicket taking ability.

Reckon there is only room for 1 of Starc and MJ in the squad

Starc is the future. he must go.

Eranga hits the best number 5 batsman in the world on the helmet[Clarke]
The best number 5, was defeated well and truly by a good bouncer, tried to evade , but was hit
The reward for a good piece of bowling was Australia was rewarded 2 leg byes

Stoopid law of cricket
If they called it Head byes, perhaps I might be more accepting of this stooopid law

what if he bowled an off-cutter, Clarke french cut it for 4, would you think the same? it's still a good piece of bowling.

Funny thing is even though Sri Lanka haven't taken any wickets, I feel as though they've made a mistake taking the new ball. Herath was making chances and was very, very unlucky not to have a few today. 1 seamer short and Watson with a history of opening, this could just leak more runs.

Might be too soon to say, but could this be the early stages of a world record individual innings? Clarke showing this year he can bat on and on, won't have a real need to declare before stumps tomorrow would give him a little over 2 whole days. Good pitch, poor attack, good batting around him, could the stars have aligned?

We will get the series win against the Lankans but boy the batting apart from Clarke is extremely ordinary at times!

Massive improvement needed if we are to be competitive against the poms
